Located on the corner of East and North Terrace in the beautiful Botanic Hotel, the Botanic Ristorante offers stunning al fresco dining on the fringe of Adelaide’s Rhymil Park and Botanic Gardens. Established in 1996, Botanic Ristorante has continued to grow under the ownership of Cono Gorgone, who has established himself in Adelaide after working in reputable restaurants in Sydney, Melbourne and Sicily. After polishing his skills in the trade it was time for him to come home.



Botanic Ristorante is dedicated to providing innovative interpretations of traditional Sicilian family recipes. From home made gelato on the beaches of Messina to Spaghetti Marinara with fresh Seafood from the Vucciria seaside markets of Palermo, food inherits a spiritual and traditional significance with the Sicilians. The Gorgone famiglia fondly reminisce about their Nonna’s secret Pork Rib Ragu and hand made Arancini recipes from the mountains of Munidari. The Gorgone famiglia have forged a relationship between Sicilian family tradition and contemporary Australian dining which permeates through the Botanic Ristorante dining experience. Purely put, Botanic Ristorante is a slice of Sicily.

With every season covered our chefs endeavour to utilise organic and seasonal produce from local South Australian areas. The Botanic Ristorante is happily situated on the doorstep of the Garden of Unearthly Delights, the Adelaide Film Festival and the Tour Down Under within the cultural hub of Adelaide.
